Mindful Commerce Group is built around one question: how do the spaces and objects around us shape the way we live, rest, and grow. That question doesn't stop at one age group or one product category, which is why our work is built to extend beyond a single brand.

Every product we bring to market is held to the same standard: materials with real substantiation behind them, function grounded in how people's bodies and nervous systems respond to their environment, and construction meant to last.

That standard traces back to Good Night Kid, born in 2017 through the design and engineering work of Buket Ozkan and Tolga Ozkan in Istanbul. Ashley Hayertz has been involved with Good Night Kid since its earliest days and leads its U.S. operations today. In 2026, that work was consolidated under Mindful Commerce Group, LLC, which now carries the same standard into future lines.

Ashley Hayertz — Founder, Mindful Commerce Group. Leads U.S. operations; Science in Design certified. Her background includes 25+ years in global e-commerce and brand development, including 12 years at Amazon.

The design and engineering behind Good Night Kid are led by its founding team in Istanbul: the makers whose craft and expertise shape every product we bring to market.

Buket Ozkan — Founding Designer, Good Night Kid. Fine arts background, award-winning creative direction. She founded her own advertising agency, Taxi Creative Solutions, in 2002, and brought over 20 years of creative leadership to Good Night Kid's original design.

Tolga Ozkan — Founding Engineer, Good Night Kid. Ph.D. in Occupational Health & Safety; master woodworking craftsman. He invented the bolt-and-cushion system at the heart of every Good Night Kid bed, a design patented in Türkiye.
